Community Learning Garden
Launch Event
Saturday, March 30, 2019
140 Main Street Sundridge
10:00 am - 2:00 pm
The community of Sundridge and the surrounding area has come together to create the NNEEC Community Learning Garden. Located on the corner of Market Street and Park Street in Sundridge, planning and construction is well under way. There will be raised beds of various sizes and examples of growing methods suitable for our area.
The Community Learning Garden Project will educate, inspire and connect with a focus on producing vegetables and herbs using environmentally sustainable and accessible methods. It will contribute to an awareness of the importance and benefits of locally produced food, including health, economic and environmental.
Come and learn how you can get involved in this unique project!
